Why Do I Miss You?

A lover staring at the stars as he reminisced her past love.

It looks everything is going fine
Believing our love will stand the time
A silly mistake turns the tide
Forever I lost you by my side.

It is the only reason I knew
That answers the question, “Why do I miss you”.
The fairy-tale feelings of love trust and care
Together we cherish, hold and share.

Forgetting not all the memories we had
Both the good times and the bad
The sheepish smile and the childish kiss
Truly are special things I really miss.

All the promises we shared on the phone
Is now all vintage time I spend alone
The stars witnessed when we made our vows
The stars are still there but the vows are gone.

Thus, why do I miss you?

    you really speak so well the words in my heart during those times I was nursing broken heart, haha! you are just so good papaleng in writing deep emotions, bringing them out, so that others may heal and/or reminisce in those words you wrote.
