The future- not to be feared.
photo: Pakoy
Ice cream every Sunday,
warm kisses each night.
A happy life,
and still a vacant heart.
The job that you wanted,
leisure you aspire.
Some contentment,
and yet, for more you search.
The triumph with your dreams,
with the ones you love,
Heaven’s reward,
and yes! You crave for more!
A man of this world,
no such greed in your heart.
Alas horror,
for the future’s worst face!
You neglect your present,
for tomorrow’s gloom.
Never to fear,
God is in the future.

ReplyDeleteI guess it's true for most of us. We sometimes tend to forget the present because we are busy taking care of the future. What we really should do is take care of the present, enjoy it and be thankful for it.
