My son showed what’s in his heart after breaking up with his girl.

Just when I started to find a way
To carry you to eternity
Yet eternity seems so far
Perhaps we’re to close to our end.
Yet we’re near to the future
But it seems you’re breaking up
And every pieces of our memories
Is lost in the great abyss.
Will you ever find me?
If I’m tossed with those memories
Or maybe turn back and face
Our destiny.

Awww I hope he heals his broken heart soon. She's pretty and I love the poem!
ReplyDeleteBeen there and done that and survived. Time will heal the wound and he would find the right gal for him.
DeleteThe poem is just sad. Extreme emotions turn us to be a poet sometimes.
ReplyDeleteayay! sabi nga nila destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice...ganda ni nene!
ReplyDeleteYour son is a poet, Sir! And yes, when heartbreaks happen, it can often make one a good poet. I am sorry for your son's rough breakup. I hope he'll recover soon! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sad story! It is really painful breaking up with the one you love pero okay lang yun parang ang babata pa nila eh...
ReplyDeleteAnother full of emotion and touching poem, Papaleng :)
Breaking up is always painful no matter how it is handled. The good thing about it is that pain will also come to pass.
ReplyDeleteMay nakalaan, kung sino man siya, Diyos ang nakakaalam.
ReplyDeletei do hope your son will find the one for him someday..and may he get over with the pain and move on

ReplyDeleteI hope that your son's heart will stop hurting soon. Parting ways do hurt really really bad. But life goes on. It's a good thing that you're always there for him.
that these sad verses will just be mere memories of an overall happy life.
ReplyDeleteTime heals all wounds, they say. Letting go of someone you hold dear is one heartbreaking moment. But the same way fire molds iron, heartbreaks, for all the pain they cause, can make a person stronger.
ReplyDeleteNice poem, Papaleng!
breaking up, no matter how they have decided (mutual or not) is just so painful. Ihope your son can recover soon.
ReplyDeletebreaking up is one of the saddest event a person encounter in this lifetime I guess..but also gives us lesson..basta ako I beleive things happen for a reason..hindi man natin alam ang rason sa ngayon..eventually mare-realize din natin ito..

ReplyDeleteAwww! What a pretty girl and beautiful poem :-) Hope your son will feel better soon :-) Heartaches are not good but it gives us to focus on other things and move on :-)
ReplyDeletewe do learn from our mistakes by being hurt, i'm sure your son will find someone that will be for him forever...
ReplyDeleteI remember creating poems like these way back when my heart got broke.
ReplyDeleteLike it or not, no one is exempted from having his/her heart broken. Otherwise, we should always move on and move forward as there is always someone out there waiting for us.
Breaking up is the most painful part of a relationship. I've been there and I learned from it.
ReplyDeletepainful talaga yan break-up, but their are many fishes in the sea. ano lang sundin mo lang yung saying ni John cena never give up
ReplyDeleteI've gotten my heart broken for a number of reasons and it's never easy. But it doesn't mean it's the end. It's actually the start of something new, since we end up being a better person after. I pray for him, God is very close to the brokenhearted. :')
ReplyDeleteThat's really sweet of your son to make a poem to express his emotions instead of writing hurtful messages to his ex-girlfriend. Sometimes we don't know how to deal with our emotions that we are overcome with it and we do things that we regret. At least you can say that your son is emotionally adept.
ReplyDeleteGo for a healthy body and mind for the whole year. This is what I should do, too, next year. I need to focus on getting myself back in shape. Oh I wish a prosperous 2013 for all of us!
ReplyDeleteIsang tunay na ROMANTIKO!
