When Should You?

A man searches for an answer.... When to make the right actions?

When should you share a smile?
When all's well and you're doing fine
When all things good and you're in cloud nine
And when giving love is all worthwhile.

When should you make a sacrifice?
It is when you open your eyes to others needs
When you help not for your own interest
And when you always offer yourself for service.

When should you shed tears?
It is when you're isolated and been rejected
It is when you make mistakes
And to trek a neglected road if requested.

When should you rejoice by winning over challenges?
It is when you stand up with pride, whenever you fall
When you still have strength and patience
After overcoming rejections and some nasty calls.

But when should you gain?
All these life's feats
When you DON'T QUIT even when
You are trampled upon by others feet.

    Reading this inspiring poem is so timely for me sir... I'm struggling at some point. But this somehow lifted my spirits -- whatever the circumstances are, if one can still fight, then never ever give up!

    I love the line that says rejoice and stand up even when you fail. By doing so, facing challenges becomes lighter when you have that positive perspective about life.

    We are traveling along LIFE's roads... there are rough, there are stiff and no matter straight the path maybe, circumstances make it crooked. We just keep our FAITH in the LORD and everything will be alright.

    nice poem ... but i seldom use the word when ... for i am simply a doer ... cant wait til tomorrow and wishing i can do everything today .. no regrets whatever the outcome ... charge it to experience that make like colorful and worth living :) lovely

    This is very inspiring. i was touched with the question when to smile - knowing how a simple (and sincere 'smile' can change things, loosen up situation, brighten one's day, etc....

    we should do that more often... even if we were at the bottom of the pit and clouds are gray...

    you should share a smile all the time coz ul never know it might have a big effect on to someone..
    make a sacrifice to someone you love..
    shed tears when you lost a love one..
    rejoice when you conquer your fear and achieve the goal..
    gain..when u eat a lot of food. hehehe
