Love Is...

A faceless love.

photo: Hazel Ann

Love is kind
When you fill up not yours but another cup,
When you stretch your hand, so other can rise up
When you pick a gritty road each day
That other may pass on a silky way.

Love is not blind,
When you look for good things through other eyes
When you draw away from asking, what “must I give?”
Rather plead, “Can I offer my hands”
And not waiting for something to receive.

Love is gentle
When it buries the sorrows and hides the pain
When it mends broken hearts and causes lips to sing
And carries others burden while walking
Just to give then a new set of wings.

Have you experience a love like this
That refreshes your soul
Surely, you'll be rewarded with happiness
Realizing you accomplish the goal.

  1. This is the kind of love that we should be looking for. A love that renews you, not something that's going to make you feel less of the person you are.

The person who have experienced this kind of love, may felt great love to the that person. He is ready to get hurt.
