A nagging question that breezes a young man’s mind…

If I tell you… I love you
Desire not for much expectations
Can’t reach and give you all the stars
Nor offer you each pearl on the ocean
Because my hands are bounded by what I call…limitations.

If I tell you …I love you
Remember.. You’re hearing phrases from a lowly mortal
I may not be romantic.. Not even be dramatic
But I‘ll be forever be what I am
A man full of passion and affection.

If I tell you …I love you
Please love me for who I am
A man deprived of fame and wealth
But has thousands of dreams
You and I could achieve.

If I tell you… I love you
Do join me in a magical journey
Where a mystical land awaits us
A haven for young dreamers
For us to enjoy an everlasting love.

But questions feel my mind
Up to when? Up to where?
Shall this relationship last
If only my wish be granted
Then I’ll rush to make TIME stops!

If I tell you.. I love you
How long should you be mine?
When I know …you’ve never been mine
How long will this relationship goes?
When the world knows.. Its only me who loves you

Why o why have I foolishly fall in love with you?
Your beauty totally captivated me
I don’t know if you will ever love me
But if ever you do.. these questions I’ll ask you
How long will it be then?

    I don't want to know the partner's reply specially if its a NO I WONT LOVE YOU BACK.. the feeling of in love is really exciting, it wakes up all the senses in your body.

    Is this what I think it is? If it is.. well, I can relate somehow (not my own experience though). I always ask someone close to me about these limitations too. She also wonders about the same thing.

    SO emotional naman ito papaleng.Para naman ako maiyak.As my understanding in your poem, there is only one love.. If you love the person just show to her, you never know at the end she loves you. BTW..Happy Valentines day po.
